Caleb Swanigan has no known tattoos.
In 2017, a Las Vegas Review-Journal article by Sam Gordon discussed Swanigan's friend and fellow Ft. Wayne big man Steve McElvene. McElvene died at the age of 20 from complications of an enlarged heart. The article described Swanigan's tribute to McElvene, a wrap of athletic tape on his wrist with "RIP #5" written in black marker. "I'm not really one that's interested in tattoos," Gordon quotes Swanigan, "This is probably something I'll do for a while."
