Stanley Johnson has a tattoo on his left thigh by Steve Wiebe. Wiebe posted the above photo of the tattoo in progress to his instagram account in June 2018.

Johnson came into the league with tattoos on his wrists, both in tribute to his mother. On his left wrist, the words "Taylor made" are a sly play on the name of his mother - Karen Taylor. Taylor was a star basketball player for Jackson State, and played professionally in Europe. In a 2015 article about tattoos on Pistons players, Johnson is quoted:

"My mom passed away from breast cancer just recently. I was raised by her, and her last name was Taylor. And I'm just Taylor made. The way I walk, the way I walk, the way I play basketball. The reason I play basketball is because of her."

The same article also describes the tattoo on his right wrist, a cross and the text "Psalms 23:1-6." Johnson goes on to credit his mother for inspiration on this tattoo as well: "Psalms 23:1-6 is a verse about not walking in fear. Before my mom died, she told me to keep fighting."
